Original monoprint from a Smoke Tree (Cotinus) leaf, found beside a city river in Burgundy.

The leaf featured here is beautiful in the simplicity of its shape, yet texturally this is the most complex work in the series of three leaf monoprints.

Here, there is a suggestion of vanishing, yet also perhaps one of transformation.
