Deer - Burgundy Spring Series (Original Artwork)

'Deer' is the first completed original artwork in my ongoing Burgundy Spring Series, a body of work made in response to the gradual unfolding of spring in the Burgundy countryside.

Each piece in the series focuses on a single animal or presence encountered.  This work was developed slowly, allowing space for stillness, looking over time, and reflection.

As an early work in the series, 'Deer' stands both on its own and as part of a wider seasonal collection that will be completed over the coming weeks.

• Medium:  Collage, Gouache, Egg Tempera, Watercolour & Conté Carré.  On Mixed Media Paper.
• Size:  approximately A4 (work meets paper edges).
• Unframed and unmounted*.
• Signed on the front.

About the Series

The Burgundy Spring Series is being created gradually throughout the season.  Originals will be made available individually as each piece is completed.

A full collection of prints (including greetings cards and postcards) will be released once the series is complete in spring.
